A Hammons version. The A part is similar to an old Minstrel tune called
"Sandy Boy" found in an old banjo tutor by Bob Flesher. Also sounds a bit like
"Clinch Mtn. Backstep" from the Stanley Bros. There is a variant played
at festivals that, according to Brad Leftwich, originated when a fiddler
forgot part of the tune and made some up to fill in what he forgot. The
